Formula to make sentences: S + V1+ O

S = Subject; The one we are talking about ( who is also a doer most of the times).

V1 = First form of Verb ( Action or State).

O =  Who receives the action.

Cricket

 

Cricket (S) is (V1) a famous sport of India (O).

This sport requires (V1) two teams for playing.

There (S) are (V1) 11 players in each team (O).

Each team has 1 captain.

Virat (S) is (V1; state) the captain of our Indian cricket team (O).

He (S) is (V1; state) a good player (O).

Note:  "is and are" are the ‘be’ form of verbs; auxiliary verbs.

He (S) does (V1) batting (O).

He (S) practices (V1) regularly.

All the team members (S) love (v1) him (O).

He (S) also loves (V1) his team member (O).

On every one-day match, before the match(S) starts (V1), he(S) goes (V1) to the ground with the captain of another team and umpire.
